Braintree, a division of PayPal, is a company that specializes in mobile and web payment systems for e-commerce
We spoke to Dan Horlor, Business Development Manager, and Samantha Blaney, European sales manager, at Braintree about why they sponsor eTail Connect.
Who: Braintree
Where: eTail Connect, London
When: February 2019
What: Exhibition Stand
Benefits: Outstanding method to make your brand completely identifiable and overtake competitors by showcasing products.
This is the fourth time Braintree has sponsored. I've been coming with other companies for a number of years, maybe five years or something like that. It's always a good event so I always come back, it’s always valuable. I like the concept and that's why I always come here.
It's been good. One or two of the people I think it's been really good in terms of who I've met with, it's been very varied. So relevant though, very relevant. It's been managed really well, I think. There was one no show on day one but one of your event hosts was able to organize a follow up with them.
The best part has been just meeting the merchants one to one, it's exactly what we're here to do.
I would definitely sponsor this event again. The meetings and the structure, everything is good
eTail Connect is important for Braintree. Why? Because the format of the event is different to others out there and it's much better use of investment to meet people one to one than it is to have a booth handing out sweets. What have eTail Connect has is the format of the event; you've nailed it. Plus the seniority of the people you get here. You got the right level of seniority, right level of directorship and all that. It’s great.
The dinner was good last night. What was really very well done was you did a simple colour place settings system, so that you didn’t have suppliers just sitting with other suppliers.
