Julien has now left his executive role in the business, and is focusing his time advising and consulting for start ups and fast growing companies facing scaling challenges.

Jeff Rossi

Jeff is charged with overseeing the streaming music giant’s B2B strategy and developing the overall voice of Spotify to business partners. Jeff started his career in the digital space at ad agencies such as TBWA, MEC and Mediavest, working across multiple disciplines from strategy to buying to new business to consumer insights, and serving as the director of accounts such as P&G and AT&T. Prior to joining Spotify, Jeff built out the agency relations discipline at Apple in New York.

Ben Chamberlain

Ben Chamberlain leads the data science team at, managing a broad range of projects across five divisions. He gained his PhD with the Imperial College statistical machine learning group led by Marc Deisenroth. His research interests span machine learning on graphs, recommender systems, natural language processing and the design of online controlled experiments. Ben has over ten years of industry experience and has previously worked as a scientist in the social media, defence and security industries. He is formerly a physics graduate of the University of Oxford and likes rugby.

His online experience includes managing the development and operation of websites and apps for the UK, Central Europe and Asia Pacific with technologies including node js, .Net and Xamarin.

Andrea Muttoni
Amazon Alexa Tech Evangelist & Solutions Architect

Andrea is travelling the world to share stories, learnings and best practices for building voice-enabled experiences, aka Skills, with Alexa. Before that he worked on both sides of software development as a full stack developer and as a product manager. When not prototyping new Alexa Skill ideas or championing the needs of developers, he enjoys composing music and working on random projects with NodeJS + TypeScript + Webpack + React + Redux. For the latter, he hopes one day to spend the majority of his time coding and not fighting with the build process.

Past successes include driving 110% Home Online revenue growth over 5 years, leading the team through a major re-platform & subsequent upgrade (2016), internal search tool implementation & upgrades, multiple tool enhancements and continuous improvements to ways of working & productivity.
Patrick Osborne

Patrick Osborne has worked with customer data analytics for 25 years in a variety of industries and sectors, beginning in direct mail fulfilment and events organisation.  He worked on the implementation of Nectar, the first multi-retailer loyalty programme in the UK, and has also spent time in the university sector, financial services and as a management consultant advising firms on the expert use of their customer data. He now works for QVC, one of the world’s largest direct selling retailers as the Head of Customer Insights & Analysis.

Leading a virtual team to create a strategic plan for transforming Retail by 2021, which includes an ‘Omnichannel’ strategy, store footprint, strategic partnerships, workspace & store design, product range, digitisation, and delivery of profitability. Accountable for identifying new and innovative revenue streams and ways of working which incorporates a ‘digital first’ strategy.

Jon joined from Halfords, where he was the Head of Digital, led the design and development of and the multichannel proposition, including launching one of the first fully transactional mobile sites amongst UK retailers.

Prior to that he held a number of business development and strategy roles at Dixons Carphone (formerly DSG), Tesco international and most recently 6 years at Amazon where he oversaw their first launch into digital media starting with Amazon music and branching into film, apps and software. 

Alixandra Burn

Alix joined the High Street fashion brand Warehouse in 2016 and was promoted to Head of Digital the following year. She is responsible for driving profitability of the digital channel and enhancing customer experience across all of the brands digital touchpoints. Alix has a strong background in fashion retail, originally specialising in Analytics and Optimisation before her move to a broader digital role. Prior to joining Warehouse, Alix worked with Topshop for 10 years. Starting out within the Digital Merchandising team, she set up the brands first analytics function in 2011 and progressively grew the size and scope of the team as Analytics Manager until her departure in 2016.

John Gillan

John Gillan currently works at Criteo as their Managing Director for Northern Europe. Prior to that he spent nearly ten years at Google as an Industry Leader and focused on building up their retail business. Prior to Google John worked for a number of FMCG companies in various sales and marketing roles. He is passionate about helping retailers and brands drive their e-commerce sales.

Peter Buckley

Peter has been actively involved in Customer Experience projects for many years and has worked on initiatives with over 100 leading retailers and brands including Shop Direct Group, Gymshark, JD Sports PLC, Arcadia, PrettyLittleThing, Charlotte Tilbury, Pets at Home and Levi’s. Peter joined Narvar in early 2018. Prior to this he was Head of Sales and Customer Success at Taggstar, a conversion optimisation tool; and Head of Product and Account Management at Befittd an intelligent sizing tool that helps customers to shop online with confidence.

She has improved Black Friday marketing and trade promotion, which drove YOY traffic increase of 47% and YOY revenue increase of 125%. This was best performing day and week of the year in terms of sales, orders, conversion and traffic for e-commerce. In addition, Nicola’s work delivered YOY traffic growth of 11% and revenue increase of 14% through above and below the line Christmas and Boxing Day promotion launch.

Jenny Hollowood-Smith joined AO in 2013, with a background in Supply Chain Development in the Aerospace sector. Progressing within the company, covering roles such as; Forecasting Account Manager, Consumer Electronics Supply Chain Manager and Change Team Manager, Jenny is now Head of Operational Development. Responsible for driving business development initiatives within the Retail arm of AO alongside her team who support Customer Experience enterprises. She places heavy focus on influencing and implementing strategic direction within AO.
